Dr. Mary Jane Cionni is our only veterinarian available. To decrease your waiting time, appointments are preferred.  Please keep in mind, emergency cases will always receive top priority, followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments.

A missed appointment is a missed opportunity for other patients. Please be considerate and call at least 24 hours ahead of time if you need to reschedule.

Patient Check In

For the safety of your pet and that of others, we ask that all cats arrive in an appropriate cat carrier or properly controlled while in the waiting area. If your cat is aggressive or does not tolerate other cats very well, please be sure to bring them in a carrier. We have several "clinic cats" that reside as permanent residents. One of them will more than likely greet you upon your arrival.

Please do not let our cats outside...no matter what they tell you.

Cat & Kitten Adoptions
("Do you take strays?"
)

Just Cats Veterinary Clinic is a hospital for cats. We are unable to take unwanted cats or kittens. However, many people assume that we are a shelter or rescue service. We simply do not have the facilities or funds to care for all of the cats in need. If you need help finding homes for your unwanted pets, please contact a rescue shelter or organization, as many veterinary clinics may have no choice but to euthanize pets that are abandoned at their practice.  Due to certain circumstances, many cats and kittens pass through our practice that need a helping hand; they are either abandoned at our clinic or rescued from horrific situations.  We are able to find homes for many of these cats every year through our in-clinic donation fund called "The Amigo Fund".  We use these donations to help cover the costs of caring for our cats in need.  Many people do not realize that by abandoning pets, someone has to pay for the costs of veterinary care. Feeding, vaccinating, boarding and finding homes for our abandoned cats is a very costly procedure.  Please help us continue our efforts by donating to our fund.
